School Traffic:

* ALL vehicles should enter the campus on the car-rider side of the building (left side when looking at the front of the school).  Only buses and staff may enter or park on the bus loading side.

* When dropping off students or picking them up, please pull your vehicle as far down the sidewalk as possible. The entire walk is designed for pickup, not just the brick gazebo area.  Two lanes are available, but please do not pass a stopped car unloading!  Also, continue around the full parking lot; do not cut through the parked cars!

Student Drop Off and Pickup:

* No students are to be dropped off at school BEFORE 7:35 am and must be picked up no later than 3:45 pm.  Specific groups/activities/sports/fine arts, etc. that meet by the request of staff are excluded.  If you are interested in before school or after school extended day care, please see the office for the proper forms.  Brookwood Middle School and the Tuscaloosa County Board of Education assume no responsibility for students who are dropped off before 7:35 am or not picked up by 3:45 pm.

 Check In or Check Out

Persons checking in or checking out students are welcome to park in front of the school building in any non-reserved parking.  Remember, NO STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO CHECK OUT AFTER 2:30 pm.  Please take a place in the car-rider line if you arrive at 2:30 or later.  Obviously, emergency situations will be excused.  Please plan accordingly when considering after school dental and/or doctor visits.
